Application form and the contest rules for theII International Youth  Film  Festival  “Plasencia Encorto” .

We are contacting you to introduce you theII International Youth Film  Festival “Plasencia Encorto” that will take place  in Plasencia  (Extremadura) situated on the west zone in Spain  (further information:http://oficinaturismoplasencia.blogspot.com.es/)

The Festival  is organized  by  the Department of Education and Culture  (Government of Extremadura); by the  Extremadura Film Library; by the City Council of Plasencia and by 24 Fotogramas Cultural Association.

The  Festival  is open  to young  filmmakers belonging to Educative Centers from  7 to 20  years  old  from all over  the  world. The running time of the film will not exceed 12 minutes and  the subtitle in  English  is compulsory.Every Educational Center will send no more than 3 works.The contest finishes on  January  16th  in  2015.  There are many  awards for you and  the best of them is that  all  the young  whose  films  are  selected will be invited  to  stay and know  our  city and the Festival: we will invite you and your accommodation and meals and even the trip from Barajas Airport (Madrid) to Plasencia (Extremadura) will be for free. We will try to  do it  the  best according  to our  institutional capacities).

The  application form  is completely   free and very simple  to  fill out. It is possible  to send your  audiovisual work from your Educative Center or from  home.  You can do it through the  Festival:

2.-You can  also  send  the  film  on  DVD  and  the  applicattion form  by  postal  mail to  the  following  address:

The  developing of the  Festival will take place for three days: 19th, 20th and   21st March  in   2015.  You  will see not only  the  selected films during the Festival but  also you will enjoy many   workshops  related  to the  cinema and  enjoy with a great cultural  tour  by our  region.
